What Are 7 Passenger Vehicles?
Cars that come with enough room and at least 3 rows of seats to allow a capacity of 7 passengers are increasingly becoming more available and affordable to many for that matter. These are the 7 Passenger Vehicles which include minivans and SUVs. For larger families, these vehicles offer the best transport options because the regular 4 to 5 seater cars do not provide enough room and in most cases will force passengers to be crumbled in the back seat and travel uncomfortably. 7 Passenger Vehicles also offer more cargo space which can also be increased by folding the center and 3rd row seats when not carrying passengers. This allows the versatility for these vehicles because they can also be used for business purposes such as ferrying goods to the market. They are also used in many countries where the laws allow as public service vehicles (PSVs) to carry passengers for commercial purposes.
Minivans are the oldest 7 Passenger Vehicles which were and still remain popular family transport options. They were initially simple in their design but have now been improved to include many features and capabilities with the advancements taking pace in the automobile industry. Most minivans such as the 2011 Toyota Sienna, 2011 Nissan Quest, 2012 Ford C-MAX and the like now look flashier and include more amenities which make them no different from top of the range luxurious vehicles in other categories. However, 7 Passenger Vehicles are currently dominated by SUVs which undeniably offer the most exciting features and capabilities. Options such as the 2011 Infiniti QX56, Hummer H2, Chevrolet Traverse, Subaru Tribeca, BMW X5, Chevy Tahoe, Ford Expedition, Mazda CX-9 and many others in their class are respected SUVs in the world arena of 7 Passenger Vehicles.
Many modern models of 7 Passenger Vehicles come with a wide range of safety features such as anti lock braking, traction control, curtain airbags, and stability systems to mention but a few. Modern audio, TV and DVD entertainment systems with LCD screens are commonly found in these 7 seater vehicles. 7 Passenger Vehicles are often all-wheel drive and have boxy body designs built on light truck chassis. They include most of the features that make them suited for off road driving. However, variations in their features and capabilities do exist depending on vehicle make, model and year. There are many luxurious 7 Passenger Vehicles which are mostly meant for use in urban areas and not necessarily off road or in rugged terrains. Their ability to take 7 or even 8 passengers and more hauling power is more defining of them functionally.
